The Code Enforcement Division has moved and is now under the supervision of the Fort Walton Beach Police Department.  Contact phone numbers and email addresses for the staff will remain the same. If you need to speak to a code inspector in person, please visit the Police Department lobby, located at 7 Hollywood Boulevard NE.

The Growth Management Department has transitioned to a new online software system, My Government Online (MGO), for the processing of Permits/Inspections, Planning/Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) applications, Business Tax Receipts (BTRs), and Code Enforcement cases.

We will no longer be accepting paper applications. 

Our operating hours are 7am through 5pm, Monday through Friday.

The Growth Management Department strives to provide exceptional customer service while assisting our citizens through the various processes that the Department is responsible for including Building Permits and Inspections, Planning and Zoning, and the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA).

To continue increasing operational efficiencies and decrease review timeframes, Growth Management utilizes electronic application submittals and plan reviews. The Department currently offers electronic submittals through the MGO web portal: MGO Connect Portal
