As part of our Cleanest City on the Emerald Coast initiative, we will be holding our next trash pickup event in the W.E. Combs/ Sylvania Heights neighborhood from 8 to 9 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2026.
We’ll be meeting at the Okaloosa Academy Charter School, located at 720 Lovejoy Rd NW, Fort Walton Beach.
From there, we’ll be picking up litter along both Lovejoy Road and Hill Avenue. (see attached map for reference and meeting location).
We’ll have some buckets, gloves and trash pickers. If you have cleanup gear of your own, please bring it along with you. We hope to see you there!
