Registration for the City of Fort Walton Beach’s Youth Basketball Cheerleading team is open now through Jan. 30, 2026. Practice will begin in February 2026, with games starting in March 2026.
Cheerleaders will cheer at the 11-13 age group basketball games held at the Fort Walton Beach Recreation Center. Cheerleaders will perform cheers, chants and routines in a recreational setting.
The program is for youths in grades K-5. Registration fee is $30 for city residents and $50 for those living outside the City of Fort Walton Beach. Cheerleaders will also need to purchase a uniform and pompoms. Unsure if you're a city resident? Click here.
Returning youth athletes who have participated in past City of Fort Walton Beach athletic programs and have a RecDesk acount can register here. For new athletes, parents will need to register their child in person to verify their age at the Fort Walton Beach Beach Recreation Center, located at 132 Jet Drive NW. The child does not need to be present, but please bring a shot record or some other proof of child's age.
