Employment Application Process
To apply for positions with the City of Fort Walton Beach applicants must complete a City employment application. Click here for instructions for Employment Application.Applicants for Police Officer or Communications Officer positions must also submit pre-employment questionnaires. Please visit the Police Department Pre-Employment Questionnaires and Interest Package for additional information.
Applicants for Police Officer and Firefighter positions are accepted on an on-going basis, Firefighter qualifications can be found on the Fire Department Benefits/Qualifications Page.
Completed applications and questionnaires must be submitted to the Human Resources Department where they will be processed and disseminated to the appropriate department. Applications and materials may be faxed, mailed, or hand-delivered. The appropriate addresses and phone numbers are listed below.
