Green Earth Living Craft Class Series
The City of Fort Walton Beach Heritage Park & Cultural Center is offering a new series of craft classes starting in January titled Green Earth Living Craft Class Series. Green Earth Living will feature craft classes that incorporate a green earth living style that include one or all of the three R's- reduce, reuse and recycle.
Want to learn how to make coasters, bowls and baskets using extra yarn? Learn this simple weaving technique you can use to make many different items! Friends of the Museums, INC. member Phyllis Hunt will teach a yarn weaving class on March 3rd, 2012 from 10:00am-12:00pm inside the Indian Temple Mound Museum Lazarus Education Center. Phyllis brings years of expertise in this technique and a passion for teaching others to this class.
This class will feature two hours of instruction, and you must bring a skein of yarn to the class. Cost is $15.00 for the public and $12.00 for Friends of the Museums members. Advanced registration and payment by cash or check is required. There is a maximum of 10 participants in this class.
