Green Earth Living Craft Class Series

The City of Fort Walton Beach Heritage Park & Cultural Center is offering a new series of craft classes starting in January titled Green Earth Living Craft Class Series. Green Earth Living will feature craft classes that incorporate a green earth living style that include one or all of the three R's- reduce, reuse and recycle.

Friends of the Museums, INC. member Gail Meyer will teach a ribbon box making class. The class will be held on February 11th, 2012 from 10:00am-12:00pm inside the Indian Temple Mound Museum Lazarus Education Center. Gail has made many of these boxes from leftover strips of ribbon or fabric that otherwise would have been thrown away. This craft can make a beautiful and practical Valentine's Day gift!

This class will feature two hours of instruction with all tools and supplies furnished. Cost is $10.00 for the public and $8.00 for Friends of the Museums members. Advanced registration and payment by cash or check is required. There is a maximum of 10 participants in this class.
