City Plants Tree for Arbor Day

The City of Fort Walton Beach planted a Live Oak tree in honor of Florida's Arbor Day, which takes place on the third Friday of January, January 20th. The tree planting was held at 9:30a.m., in the median in front of City Hall. The City recognizes Arbor Day every year with a tree planting in January, and the annual Earth Day/Arbor Day celebration in April.
