Fort Walton Beach Solid Waste Schedule/Holiday Closings

Fort Walton Beach – The City of Fort Walton Beach will collect residential and commercial garbage on Friday, December 23rd and Monday, December 26th. No yard debris will be collected on these days. There will be no solid waste collection on Christmas Day, December 25th. All services will resume their normal routes on Tuesday, December 27th.

The City will observe the New Year's Day holiday on Monday, January 2nd. There will be residential and commercial collection only. No yard debris will be collected on this day. There will be no collection of any kind on New Year's Day, Sunday, January 1, 2012. Routes will resume as normal on Tuesday, January 3, 2012.

Recycling drop off locations can be found on the City's website at www.fwb.org.

All City operations, including the Museum and Library, will be closed from Friday, December 23rd through Monday, December 26th. Regular operating hours will resume on Tuesday, December 27th.

All City facilities, with the exception of the Golf Club, will be closed on Monday, January 2nd , 2012.
