Green Earth Living Craft Class Series
The City of Fort Walton Beach Heritage Park & Cultural Center is offering a new series of craft classes starting in January: Green Earth Living Craft Class Series.
Green Earth Living will feature craft classes that incorporate a green earth living style that include one or all of the three R's- reduce, reuse and recycle.
Friends of the Museums, INC. member Jean Lucas will teach a crocheted rug making class. The class will be held on January 28th and February 25th, 2012 inside the Indian Temple Mound Museum Lazarus Education Center. Jean has made dozens of these rugs from recycled material that is often discarded as waste.
Each class will feature two hours of instruction with all tools and supplies furnished. Cost is $25.00 per class for the public and $20.00 per class for Friends of the Museums members. Payment must be a personal check or cash. There is a maximum of 12 participants in the class, and advanced reservation is required. Class times are 10 AM – 12 PM both days.
