FY 2011-12 Proposed Budget Available

Fort Walton Beach – The City of Fort Walton Beach Fiscal Year 2011-2012 Proposed Budget is available for review as a hard copy at the Fort Walton Beach Library, 185 Miracle Strip Parkway SE, or in electronic format online at www.fwb.org.

The budget was prepared based on maintaining a millage rate of 4.5383, the same rate as FY 2010-2011.

The Fort Walton Beach City Council will host a meeting on August 16th (and 17^th if necessary) to discuss the proposed budget.  The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. and be held in the City Council Chambers located at City Hall, 107 SW Miracle Strip Parkway.  The meeting will also be broadcast live on FWBTV, channel 98.  Residents are encouraged to attend and participate.

Council will tentatively adopt the millage rate and budget on September 6^th, and adopt the final millage rate and budget on September 21^st.

Fiscal Year 2011-2012 runs from October 1, 2011 until September 30, 2012.
