2. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS

2.1 Presentation by the City Pension Attorney and Plan Actuary regarding a proposed defined contribution retirement plan for full time employees hired as of October 1, 2009. Synopsis: Due to the increase in the cost of maintaining pension plans, an alternative is being considered for future employees.

3. ACTION ITEM

3.1 Acceptance of the General Employees Retirement Fund Actuarial Valuation, as of October 1, 2008, dated February, 2009.  Synopsis: This is the process that identifies the required contribution for this current fiscal year.

4. DIRECTION ITEM

4.1 Policy direction for leases of City Property.  Synopsis: Recognition of need to clarify terms and conditions of leases; commercial entities, non-profit entities, and municipal service providers.

Discussion - Direction - Action items may be acted upon by the City Council by either a motion with vote in accordance with Robert's Rules of Order, or by a consensus of the Council.
