Pursuant to Volume II, Chapter IV, Section 4.01, Paragraph 4.01.025, Fort Walton Beach Code of Ordinances, request authorization to purchase one half-ton Pickup Truck, Extended Cab, 4x2, utilizing the Florida Sheriff's Contract, from Orville Beckford Ford of Milton, Florida in the amount of $15,987. Consideration of Resolution (2009-02) of the City of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, accepting equipment through the Commercial Equipment Direct Assistance Program; authorizing the City Manager to execute documents as needed; authorizing the Police Chief to oversee the project; and setting an effective date. Consideration of Resolution (2009-03) of the City of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, accepting equipment from Mothers Against Drunk Driving; authorizing the City Manager to execute documents as needed; authorizing the Police Department to oversee the project; and setting an effective date. 8. Consideration of Resolution (2009-04) of the City of Fort Walton Beach, amending the fiscal year October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2009 Budget to make certain amendments to appropriations of City funds to pay for updating the Cost Allocation Plan; and providing an effective date. Approval will authorize staff to engage the services of Maximus Consulting Services to prepare an updated Cost Allocation Plan at a cost of $10,500. (Finance Services Director) (See Backup)

Consideration of Resolution (2009-01) of the City of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, amending the fiscal year October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2009 Budget to make certain amendments to appropriations of City funds to pay for codification of the Land Development Code; and providing an effective date. 10. Consideration of a request to authorize a change in the Capital Improvement Program to include the replacement of 315 linear foot segment of 6" transite water main on Oregon Drive NE between Ferry Road NE and Buck Drive, not to exceed $10,000. If approved, sufficient funding is available in account 401-8400-535.69-97 (WWTP Improvements) and will be moved to account 401-5056-533.63-60 (2-¼" Water Main Replacement) to fund this replacement (Utilities Director) (See Backup)
11. Consideration of a request to reject all proposals for RFP 08-121 Purchase of Various Water Meter pursuant to the City of Fort Walton Beach Code of Ordinances, Volume II, Chapter 4, Section 4.01 Paragraph 4.01.025 and the Purchasing Policies and Procedures. Staff also requests authorization to issue an Invitation to Bid for the Purchase of Various Water Meters for a Drive-By Metering System with an award for overall contract in Phases I and II and for Phase III, subject to future funding availability.
