7.1 Quarterly Report on General Employees' Pension Plan.  Synopsis: Joe Bogdahn, Plan Advisor, will deliver the Report. (Finance Director)

7.2 Stormwater Utility Update.  Synopsis: Councilman Reeves requested an update on the Stormwater Utility operations and activities. (Engineering and Utilities Director)

8.         CONSENT AGENDA

8.1 Approval of minutes of Special Meeting and Regular Meeting on April 13, 2010.  (City Clerk)

8.2 Acceptance of CDBG Action Plan.  Synopsis: Provides $142,212 in CDBG funds for five projects within the City.  (Building Official)

8.3 Acceptance of Actuarial Valuation Report for General Employees' Pension Plan.  Synopsis: Staff requests that the City Council accept the valuation of the Plan as of October 1, 2009 as defined by the City's actuaries. (Finance Director)

8.4 Direct City Clerk to Advertise Rezonings. Synopsis: Per State Statute the City Council must direct the Clerk to advertise the rezonings to conformance with the Comprehensive Plan. (Engineering and Utilities Director)

8.5 Approval of Contract with Xerox Corporation.  Synopsis: Creates a department specific copier/printer network and replacement program. (Finance Director)

11.       ORDINANCES - FIRST READING

11.1 Ordinance 1825. Synopsis: Amends the city code methodology for measuring distance requirements for alcohol sales to conform to Florida Statutes. (Engineering and Utilities Director)

13.       APPOINTMENTS

13.1 Appointment to Historic Sites and Structures Advisory Board. Synopsis: William Cox requests re-appointment to serve another four (4) year term. (City Clerk)

14.       ACTION-DIRECTION- DISCUSSION

14.1 Action - Nominations for Vacant Seat Council 4.  Synopsis: Nominations will be made at the Council meetings of April 27 and May 11.  The seat will be filled at the May 25 meeting from those nominated. (City Clerk)

14.2 Direction - Sets July Meeting Schedule.  Synopsis: Cancels July regular City Council meetings to provide staff time to prepare budget documents for discussion and public hearings in August and September. (City Manager)

14.3     Discussion - Request for Assignment of Lease and Relief of Rent. Synopsis: Lessee has requested these actions for property leased from the City located at 243 Hollywood Blvd. NW. (City Manager)
