5. RESOLUTIONS
5.1 Resolution 2010-8. Approval of Budget Transfer to Expend CRA Funds For 25 Miracle Strip Parkway. Synopsis: Funds $35,000 for the demolition of structures and payment of delinquent taxes. (City Manager)
6. ORDINANCES - FIRST READING
6.1 Ordinance 1820. Amends Section 10.52.04, Bases of Monthly Charges. Synopsis: Corrects a previous improper action wherein a Resolution rather than an Ordinance changed codified baseline water charges. No financial impact. (Finance Director)
6.2 Ordinance 1824. Amends Section 10.10.15, Cost, Payment for Lots, Crypts & Niches of the Code of Ordinances by adding "Exception for Certain Persons". Synopsis: Amends current cemetery regulations to provide for no cost burial services for certain persons killed in the line of duty. (City Manager)
7. ORDINANCES - SECOND READING
7.1 Ordinance 1821. Amends Stormwater Utility Fee. Synopsis: Per the City's consulting engineer, revises the definition of an Equivalent Residential Unit (ERU) for commercial Stormwater Utility fees, reducing commercial customer fees. (Engineering and Utilities Director)
7.2 Ordinance 1822. Amends Municipal Planning Board Meeting Time. Synopsis: The MPB unanimously requested its meeting time be changed from 5 PM to 5:30 PM. (Engineering and Utilities Director)
7.3 Ordinance 1823. Amends Temporary and Special Events Permitting Procedure. Synopsis: Provides for combining two separate permitting processes into a simplified administrative procedure to expedite permits. (Engineering and Utilities Director)
8. APPOINTMENTS
8.1 Mayor's appointment to the Fort Walton Beach Housing Authority. Synopsis: Consideration of reappointment of Pat Thornber. (City Clerk)
8.2 Appointment of an alternate to the Code Enforcement Board. Synopsis: Consideration of appointment of Philip Rose. (City Clerk)
9. ACTION-DIRECTION- DISCUSSION
9.1 Action - Resolution 2010-7. Amendment to the City Comprehensive Fee Schedule. Synopsis: Includes the stormwater utility fee into the Comprehensive Fee Schedule. (Finance Director)
9.2 Action - Nominations for appointment to fill vacant City Council Seat 2. Synopsis: Council members may nominate electors to fill the seat. (City Council)
9.3 Discussion -Shariah-Compliant Financial Products. Synopsis: Requested by Council Member Patterson.
